Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2nd International Symposium on In-situ Modification of Deposit Properties for Improving Mining (IMDPIM2) and the 7th Unconventional Geomechanics Symposium (UG7), originally scheduled on July 10th~12th, 2020 in Taiyuan, has been tentatively postponed to November 7th – 8th, 2020.
The theme of IMDPIM is "Present Situation and Development of Theory and Technology of In-situ Modification of Deposit Properties for Improving Mining", and explores the application of in-situ modified mining theory and technology in geo-energy exploitation. The purpose of the symposium is to bring together domestic and foreign researchers who lead the field of earth energy and resource development to exchange and share new insights and results in the research of earth resources and energy extraction theory and technology.
The UG aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between disciplines related to unconventional resource exploitation, and to solve the dilemma of unconventional resource extraction through theoretical innovation and multidisciplinary cooperation. Since it was first held in 2014, UG has been held 6 times in a row. The conference strives to provide a platform for researchers worldwide engaged in unconventional geomechanics to share research results, explore innovative solutions, and explore emerging technologies in key technology areas.
We sincerely welcome all the eminent scientific researchers, scholars, students and delegates at home and abroad to attend the symposiums. There will be two ways of registration: e-mail (imdpim@hotmail.com) and online registration. The available time of the online registration system will be further notified. Thank you for your understanding and support.
