The 5th Short-term Prediction of Rock Failure Competition (STPRFC V)

第五届岩石破坏短临预报竞赛于2025年10月31至11月3日在中国武汉成功举办，本次竞赛由国际岩石力学学会–超深岩体力学与工程专业委员会和岩石力学与工程学报联合主办，长江水利委员会长江科学院、中国科学院武汉岩土力学研究所和太原理工大学原位改性采矿教育部重点实验室共同承办。

The 5th Short-term Prediction of Rock Failure Competition was successfully held in Wuhan, China, from October 31 to November 3, 2025. The competition was jointly organized by the International Society for Rock Mechanics  (ISRM) – Commission on Ultradeep Rock Mass Mechanics and Engineering and the Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, and co-organized by the Yangtze River Scientific Research Institute of the Yangtze River Water Conservancy Commission, the Wuhan Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Key Laboratory of In-situ Property Improving under Mining of Ministry of Education, Taiyuan University of Technology.
